The Professional Practice of ABA in Australia Survey Results are here!
In July 2020 in collaboration with Monash University and the Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia (ABAA), ABIA conducted a nationwide survey to better understand the National landscape with respect to the professional practice of ABA in Australia. The purpose of this survey was to identify who is delivering and receiving ABA-based programs in Australia, to describe what Australian ABA-based programs look like, and to learn more about what families think about their ABA-based program.
The ABA in Australia Survey Results Infographic provides a snap shot of the data gathered from the research project. Data collected from questions such as “Who is delivering ABA based programs?” and “What are the Family perceptions of program design & delivery?” are provided in an easy to read downloadable PDF. In the below recording Dr Erin Leif, ABIA Vice President and Monash University Professor, presents some of the survey’s key takeaways and implications for the future of ABA based programs in Australia. Erin also hosts an open Q&A session at the end of the presentation, answering questions from both professionals and parents.
