  • Behaviour Management is the online version of our face-to-face workshop. This online module is suitable for educators & support staff working at primary level or in an ELC/Kindergarten. The objective of this module is for you to learn to identify challenging behaviours, conduct a functional behaviour assessment (FBA) & implement an effective strategy bases on that assessment

  • Managing ASD in the Classroom is the online version of our face-to-face workshop. This online module is suitable for educators & support staff working at primary level or in an ELC/Kindergarten. The objective of this module is to show educators & support staff how to proactively plan clear & specific IEP’s utilising effective task analysis, prompting & reinforcement strategies.

  • The Social Skills module is the online version of our face-to-face workshop. This module is suitable for educators & support staff working at Primary level or in an ELC/Kindergarten. The objective of this module is to give a better understanding of why social skills are important & what strategies can be used to teach them to an ASD child. You will also learn how to do a social skills assessment; how to prioritise which skills to teach; and how to choose a replacement behaviour.

  • Suitable for primary school teachers, classroom aides, specialist support staff, and ABA therapists working in schools. Whether you’re supporting children with autism, or teaching neuro-typical children, you can make it work better in your classroom with one of our Making it Work courses. Focusing on behavioural methodologies, these sessions provide educators with an introductory knowledge of the theory of autism and ABA. You’ll get a better understanding of why challenging behaviours occur and how to respond to them. Participants will come away with behaviour management strategies and new skills that will help children adapt and develop social skills. The Making it Work series is APST-aligned. These courses build teachers’ capacity to teach learners with disability. Completion of Making it Work PD will entitle you to receive PD points toward your annual 20-hour VIT PD requirement.   • Suitable for teachers, teacher aides, and specialist support staff within mainstream or specialist schools, as well as ELC/Kindergarten educators. The Behaviour Management workshop will help participants learn how to identify common challenges for students and at the same time identify their own common challenges when supporting and teaching children with ASD. You will be guided in how to identify the function of behaviour (every behaviour happens for a reason) and you will be given practical and workable strategies for managing challenging behaviours that occur within the school environment. Any teacher with a challenging student, or any teacher wanting to do better self-management should not miss this course.
